A twenty minute walk around noon every day is a good start. Getting the blood moving and the sunlight seeping into the eyes help fight the grey depression.
A half hour of aerobic exercise, thre times a week - that's what common wisdom suggests. It should be sustained and it should get your heart rate up. Thus swimming/running/biking is good.
