Woke up. Checked my email and my daily web comics. Came back to my room to prepare for my morning shower. Saw that in the 20 minutes that I'd left my door open, Flynn decided to crap on my bed. Again. For the fourth time.

And it was a pretty big shit for such a small cat. I swear to god I think he saves it up as long as he can in case an opportunity presents itself. It's always the same spot too - it's not like there's crap all over the house because he can't hold it in.

He got a nose full for his troubles and a timeout on the litter box.

On the bright side, I've been changing my linens more often.

Agree with this comment. Cats are generally very clean so this is a message. The point crap was often a mark the litter box was too dirty (for some cats this varies from dirty to a poop or two, cats are odd that way).

Something to check is the litter box for anything that looks crystalline, that means a urinary track infection.

Ya, if you've never paid much attention to him and haven't changed your routine (and assuming he gets attention from the others in the house) it's likely a sign. Either medical or a dominance thing. Hopefully it's an easy fix and if it turns out to be a dominance thing, I can give you some suggestions that have worked with my cats.
