2013 in Review

Began the new year right with lots of rum and some Cards Against Humanity with my friends at Port Wood, garething, stephtopia, and othelianna.
I also spent several days in Vancouver enjoying myself, and not enjoying the drive back to Calgary.
Next up was the discovery that I had a leak in one of the walls and that there was a ton of mould present. That was not fun, but in the end my insurance covered it aside from the deductible and some non-covered plumbing costs.
February
Oscar party.
March
Had a great time in San Francisco, which I plan on repeating someday.
April-May
Boring.
June
The city had a wee spot of rain, but it didn't really affect me at all aside from making me scramble to change my travel plans.
I went to Vancouver and visited assorted cool people, and also helped rescue a guy with a compound fracture.
July
Continuing the trip above I went to Seattle and spent a few days there. This being my second time in Seattle, and it was a lot better than the first.
August
Had a spur-of-the-moment Vegas vacation with several friends. I wasn't going to do it on account of being somewhat burned out. However, I ended up having a good time.
September-October
I got to deal with the fallout of Haley White, deadbeat.
Went to Vancouver again, for Thanksgiving and other more special occasions.
November
My birthday, at the Big Lebowski.
December
fell completely off the fitness wagon. No weight watchers, no exercise. Lot and lots of snow though.
Ended the year with friends and Cards Against Humanity. No rum though - I was driving.
Overall
There were visits, SCA events, parties, but mostly I found myself in a holding pattern. That last bit by itself is something I need to work on. Coasting through life is something you can afford to do if you're satisfied with your life, and I'm not.
