Feline Linguistics
Mar. 3rd, 2005 06:59 amI've been observing cat interaction a lot lately and I think I have their rich meaningful language down. Meow, can mean feed me, let me out, or pay attention to me, depending on tone and context. Purring means life is good. Hiss means Fuck off and a low throaty growl means I mean it.
The language of their hairless ape servants is comparatively simple. Humans have only one word of consequence and it means god. However, the cats do have doctrinal differences. Amongst the white-furred cats in Pepperland, Zabu is the human's word for god. Amongst the dark-furred cats in Pepperland, Shiva is the human's word for god.
These two noble clans discuss their spirituality among themselves when they can. usually they have well thought out debates consisting of "Fuck off, I mean it".
