Random Spam-bots in My LJ?

I'll definitely return.".I don't know, this purely generic bit of boilerplate seems like some kind of scam, but I can't seem to figure out what kind of scam.

Date: 2011-08-16 10:14 pm (UTC)These typically have pages and pages of hidden text and links in them, and most of the text is in Russian (and some of the links even have Cyrillic characters in the URL paths). I'm pretty sure LJ comment spam is mostly Russian in origin, which doesn't surprise me given the fact that LJ is run by a Russian host.
Deleting the comment should give you options to both block the sender from commenting again in your journal and marking them as a spammer.
