Meme-oires 30: A Final Moment

My final moment will be my first memory.
I'm sitting beside my mom and I'm probably about four years old. My brother and sister are sitting across from me. We're on a train going to Edmonton, where my dad is working. I remember that the train is really loud, so I'm covering my ears.
And that's it - that's all I can remember about the trip. I don't remember getting on the train, or leaving it. I don't remember anything else about my dad's time in Edmonton or our visit (though when I described this memory when I was older I was told that we were visiting him for the weekend and the job was temporary). My next clear memories aren't for another year.
