jamesqThe good news is the vote went off without any drama. The bad news is that it wasn't terribly well organized. Ultimately it passed with 20 yeas, 0 nays and 5 deliberate abstentions.
And then I hung out with some cool folks and basically shot-the-shit for the rest of the night. It was pleasant and I'm glad I went.
Unfortunately, the person I wanted to talk to about... things... didn't show up, so that's still taking up expensive mental real-estate.
Today, I'm taking a half-day off to dig holes in my backyard. Later there will be archery and possibly I'll be seeing the late show of Inception at Crowfoot.
