Once again I have Blogger's Block - which sounds like a nasty sort of nasty gastric obstruction, but isn't. The constipation is of the mind, not the body.

So I put it out to you - give me a topic or a question and I'll see what I can come up with. It allows me to do two of my favorite things that doesn't involve losing my pants: Writing and being an insufferable know-it-all.

Ohhh! A challenge! And so:

Provide us with your thoughts concerning schadenfreude. Is the temporary joy worth the sense that one has lost some moral high ground? Perhaps your distinction between 'karma's a bitch' and 'schadenfreude' might be useful, too.

If you could find and marry your soul-mate, but it meant giving up ALL your friends, would you do it?

You wouldn't make any new friends, either; all you would have is her.

We could clone James, an substitute the 'x' chromosome from, say, Juliette Binoche for his manky 'y' chromosome. How 'bout that...? Would that make for a good soul mate?

Why so harsh? James and Jimette and a whole passel of youngins can homestead - for free! - an enchanting coral reef off the coast of Australia...

Under the sea,
Under the sea,
There'll be no accusations,
Just friendly crustaceans
Under the Seeeeeeeeeeeeea!

Remember, the pavlovian response is a trained reflex.

I was thinking more about the signalling young lasses and the rewards given to young lads who demonstrate the proper responses to said signals. That and the media.
