Vancouver via War

jamesqMy vacation has begun. The car's all packed and I'm going to the war today and Vancouver on Sunday.
I still can't get quite everything into the trunk of the car, but there's little enough in the back seat that I could have taken someone with me and included their gear (if they travelled light). I'm removing the crossbars from the car since I don't have a box for it yet. More importantly, it makes a whistling sound at speed and I don't want to have to deal with that for multiple long car trips if I don't have to.
I will be writing when I get to Vancouver, so I won't exactly be incommunicado. Keep those suggestions coming.
