evilscientist's retirement from the military dinner is tonight. I had every intention of going, and would be driving down to Montana or thereabouts for it even now except I fucked up.
You see, in MacOS X, the mail program has a "quickview" feature for attachments. I used this for the email inviting me to the celebration. It showed me the top half, consisting of who, what, where and when. It did not include the part that said mandatory RSVP by June 18th. I saw that when I actually downloaded the attachment to print it out. Today.
Fuck.
Sorry Jason. I wish I could be there, but I have the dumb. Next dinner is on me and it won't even be at Taco Bell.
