Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Feb. 26th, 2009 11:21 pmA bag of 18 of my world-famous chocolate chip cookies sold at auction tonight for $74 dollars.
Ingredients:
It’s very important that you not exceed the cooking time given above, even if the cookies appear to be under baked. When the cookies are removed from the oven, the sugar in them will stay hot and continue the cooking process. The finished product should be soft in the middle and crunchy around the edges.
Substituting ingredients (i.e. margarine for butter, or using artificial vanilla extract) will produce an inferior cookie.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup granulated (white) sugar
- 1½ cup cups packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1½ package chocolate chips (225 g package)

Date: 2009-03-02 09:35 pm (UTC)So about a month ago, I was talking with
Hearing this, our own Baroness, WJ, said "What? You don't want to be part of that sausage-fest do you." Again, I remained uncommitted, but now a funny erupted in my mind.
I started calling each side "team sausage" or "team clam". And it's catching on. If someone uses it in court between now and the end of Winter War, I'll be a happy Quixote.
Still uncommitted, because I have an active experiment in my mind. Discussing the ends of the experiment will queer the results though.
