jamesqThursday saw the beginning of the actual war. That is to say, activities that might decide who won the war point. As target archery counted towards this I felt I could actually make myself useful and do some shooting. By this point I was pretty desperate for something I could put into the "win" column.
Sadly I spent too much time dawdling and not enough time reading the event rules. Target Archery Lists closed at 2pm and the range closed at 3pm every day. We got there at 2:55. Drat.
On the bright side, their were two archery categories on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so I'd have the chance to redeem myself.
Thursday night had a cool party held by the Kingdom of the Outlands. I got good and loaded at that one. I think Thursday is also the day I broke down and bought a mongol fur cap. Between that and the two sleeping bags I bought (zipping together to form one double-width bag and putting my regular bag inside) I had my first non-miserable night at Estrella. I was warm all night.
