jamesq | My 15 Minutes of Fame Has Begun

So here I am at work, not working. The network is down so nobody can get at the source code and both or our system administrators are MIA. This leads to 25 engineers and scientists sitting around with their thumbs up their ass. As I find that somewhat uncomfortable, I've decided to make some journal entries.

Woke up feeling OK today. After the three S's I made breakfast and sat down to read my favorite web comics. Having a few minutes to kill before leaving I decided to also check my hotmail account and discovered three wonderful things.

Google has discovered my page.
Total strangers are reading it.
They want to buy stuff.

...And not just one person, I got two requests for books. Unfortunately, in replying to the emails, one of them bounced.

Anyway, it's time to extend the welcome from my friends to all of humanity. Here it is, warts and all.
