Star Wars and It's Affect on Weak Minds
May. 16th, 2002 01:00 amI haven't seen Attack of the Clones yet. I'll probably review it next week. I have next week off (house-hunting, ugh) so I will have ample opportunity to see it then.
Last week, a flamboyant gay Dutch politician was assassinated. What does this have to do with Star Wars. Nothing really, except when I first heard his name, I thought it was perfect for a Star Wars character. The name? Pim Fortuyn.
This was underlined when I saw a photo of the man. His clean-shaven bald head, wry smile and buggy eyes all contributed to make him look like he would have fit right in at the Mos Eisley Cantina.
I took an informal poll of Ggothic Towers residents not named James and discovered that 100% had the exact same thought as me when they heard the news.
