A Quiet Christmas

Woke up early to take garething and stephtopia to the airport. Since I never heard from them afterwards, I'm guessing their flight wasn't cancelled like damn near everyone else's.

Had breakfast at Denny's. I prefer the breakfast sausages at Ricky's.

Played some video games.

Read a few chapters of Making Money.

Heated up the turkey dinner I bought at Sunterra and shared it with nosarious.

Basically fucked the dog all day, not that there's anything wrong with that.

No family outings because the big family get together is on Saturday.

As usual, I'm missing my mom and dad. Sigh.

I have to admit that 'Making Money' is not one of Pratchett's best. It tries to take itself a little too seriously, I'm afraid. (It's not bad, but it feels a bit contrived - especially when compared to 'The Truth' or 'Going Postal'.
