I'm not sure that eating it while playing bridge is a good idea. First, I don't really play cards that often. Second, I find that really good food needs to be eaten consciously, deliberately, so that you can savour every moment. Mindless eating is good for potato chips and such, but not for something as good as this cheese.
Exercise is good, it allows me to consume more calories of cheese. As for cleansing my palate, this is also a good idea, but I think fire might overdue it.
I favour a blue cheese-tequila sauce made with heavy cream and some dried mushrooms and minced onion. It goes very well on steak, potatoes, or both....
