jamesqOk folks, so you see this picture:
As you can read, it's from the Pete Townshend album Empty Glass. The album that Let My Love Open the Door is from.
I'm convinced that the cover art is based off of a famous painting, but I don't know which one. It's obviously meant to be a homage of renaissance religious painting, with Pete in the roll of the saint and the girls as angels. The iconography is quite distinct and obvious.
Anyway, if you think you can identify the "original" (assuming it exists), let me know. I'm quite curious.
