Ice Cream Causes Deafness

We stopped in Killam on the way home and bought some soft serve.

"I'll take a small." I said.
"So that'll be a large ice cream then?" asked the server.
"No, I'd like a small."
"What flavour large would you like?"
"I'd like a small chocolate swirl"
"So that'll be one large chocolate swirl then?"
"Small chocolate swirl"

She proceeds to make my ice cream, but the chocolate mechanism wasn't quite working right so instead of 50/50 it was more like 10/90 chocolate.

"Your chocolate didn't work right so I just went and made it a large."

At this point I gave up, thinking that she was going to charge me for a small. Nope, I got charged for a large. Sigh.

50 cents is a small price to pay for this story though so I paid for my defective large ice cream and left, chuckled while shaking my head.
