Can't SCA Due to Illness

I can't go to Spring Champs or Winter War because I'm coming down with an illness - the I-have-to-lay-on-the-beach-in-Cuba flu!

The cure is more cowbell drinking mojitos for a solid week.

Lucky. As an American we can not go to Cuba. We would be arrested on re-entry. Have fun for me

Technically you can go to Cuba. The USA only bans spending money in Cuba. So if you had a rich Euro sugar daddy pay your way, it would be perfectly legal.

Of course, the authorities would still crawl up your ass until someone reasonable came along to tell them to stop, so it's probably not worth the hassle.

Well it would have to be Red-footed boobies wouldn't it - they're the ones that are native to Cuba.

The link indicates that some boobies in Cuba will be masked or brown, which makes sense when you consider how much sun they get.
