I was so bored yesterday I actually went in to work. Ugh. Later,

thebrucie and I met up with

catalytic and

madeileen (and

gifted_spirit and

50000_a_hit and

zastrazzi) for drinks and darts. It was fun, but somewhat more low-key then I'm used to for anything J & R organized.

I managed to have quite a few drinks and got sort of half-drunk. I say half not because I was half-sober - it was more that I was expecting a certain group of sensations when drunk, and only got some of them. I feel gypped. Possibly this was because I was feeling a little down (thankfully pleasant company kept me from getting worse)

Darts was fun, mostly because I feel my archery skill should translate (it does, but not in obvious ways) so I actually played a better game of darts then I ever have before. I still lost one game to B and another to R & S (

50000_a_hit, incidentally, is a shark and when he tells you he doesn't know how to play darts don't believe him). I imagine I could be an even better darts player is I practiced a little and if I wasn't losing fine motor control due to alcohol.

This morning I'm paying for it - I'm hung over. Naturally I'm going to go for a run, because I'm feeling guilty about the plate of nachos I had yesterday.
