It's lunchtime and I'm at work. I'm eating the hot and sour sizzling rice we had from Spicy Hut yesterday. I think I like it even better the next day then I do when it's hot off the stove.
Quick review: Awesome food as always but the service is almost comically bad. Except for your order and when they bring it out, you will be ignored. It's like a bunch of really gifted chronic introverts started a restaurant - they only talk to you when they absolutely have to, but the food makes up for the lack of chattiness.
So what other foods are as good or better after they've been left in the refrigerator overnight? Pizza certainly hits the spot and may well be a nearly perfect breakfast food. Anything else?

Date: 2008-01-26 08:54 pm (UTC)When I got home, my potato soup I had forgotten on the table had indeed turned into a strange grey sort of pudding with a film of water on the top. I did not try to eat it.
