5. I was surfing the web when I stumbled accross www.sca.org... from there I discovered An Tir, Avacal & Montengarde. On the Montengarde website I discoved that there was an archery practice & e-mailed the Captain of Archers who was/is married to the Chatelaine of the time, Malabar... so he invited me out to Tavern... & the rest, as they say, is history.
So what got me in? I did ;)

That Funhouse pinball game was creepy. I think the Addams Family one was our favourite.

I did finish my Masters with about a week left. It is probably still sitting on Colijn's desk however. I found his Ada compiler disks in my basement recently. Wonder if he wants them back (on 5 1/4" floppy). I'm a bad man.

My Cats....

Actually a bunch of the Edmonton SCA folks - some aren't as involved in the SCA as much currently (People you've met - Ceis, and Ann and John Faulks... and a few non-SCA folks who are crazy political socialist folks that hang with Ceis). Other then that... the pottery club in Vegreville (There is only one person you may have met - Shelia).
But my current social circle is pretty slim - since I'm too busy with work and school and consulting on GURPs stuff to maintain a social life.

Glad to know the Munchausen jacket came out of retirement - I'm surprised it hasn't self destructed. I dusted off my Spaceship Gundam jacket the other day and wondered if I should remake it into something usable. I also found a certain violent flourscent cow patterned cotton and a tux pattern. That were together waiting to be created...

I believe so. There is a long story behind it, but the short version is. Parents stupid. Me not so stupid. Me go to college so don't have to work at McDonald's. Me get degree. Me get good job. Me make money. Me still broke, but happy overall.
