The Changing of the Roommates

Well I'm losing my good friends kermie_canada and spookiemonkie2 as they go back to the moist western regions of our great country - all the better to grow their forthcoming son Ewan. This way he will be tall, lush and green. Alberta would have produced something far more brown and scrub-like.

On the bright side, I now have more people to visit whenever I go out to Vancouver!

That gives me two rooms to rent. devoidofthought is taking one of them. The other I think I'll leave open for now. If a friend suddenly has need for a room I can offer it to them. I'd rather have it empty and ready for such a situation then put the word out and end up renting to a stranger.

Now if I could only get citagirl to pick up her damn piano.

When does The Great Change take place?

There's going to be some overlap as devoidofthought is moving in on the first (possibly earlier if the stars are right) and C&J are leaving Dec 13.

Complicating matters, spookiemonkie2 might be spending some time in the spare room depending on when he defends his thesis.

So yeah, soon. I've been told a going-away party is in the works. I don't know too much about that as I just own the place and planning goes on in the alien world of WoW chatrooms.

I do know it means the spare room will not be available until at least February.
