A conversation with WJ:

"So when were you going to tell me about the party at [name withheld in case the party is not public knowledge]'s place?", she asked.
"What are you talking about? What party?" says I.
"Wait. Are you in Victoria?"
"Vancouver actually, but I was in Victoria a few hours ago."

The sound of multiple people laughing (who are not WJ) is heard from the other end of the line.

"You fuckers", says WJ to the unseen laughing people

It seems our Ms WJ was taken in by the likes of stephtopia and garething.

In other news, WJ begins almost all phone conversations with me by asking what I'm wearing. I told her "clothes" but I was lying. Specifically I was lying in the bathtub.

Well, she wasn't taken in as such - we are in fact having S&G over for supper tomorrow. But I don't know that I'd call it a party...
