Macs I Have I Owned

• 512Ke. Bought used from bungle_lord back around 1988/89. Fly-back transformer blew on it a few years later.
  
• LC II. My first brand new Mac. It even had (gasp) a colour monitor. Sold it to Mom.
  
• LC 575. This was a floor model I bought when I worked at Orifice Depot. Gave it to my niece.
  
• Performa 6320CD. Another floor model. Sold it to a coworker)
  
• Power Mac G4 (the "yikes" version). Sold it to some guy through the Bargain Finder.
  
• 15" iMac (the "iLamp" style iMac that came after the gumdrops and before the current style). Sold it to some guy through the Bargain Finder.
  
• 12" iBook. Sold it to kermie_canada.
  
• 13" MacBook. My current go-to computer.

Along the way I also picked up various used Macs that were never really used by me except that I like to play with their innards the same way I do with old PCs. These include several Colour Classics, some II's and a PowerMac 601. Most recently was nosarious' old G3, which I played with for a few days then donated to the Baronial Garage sale (and subsequently sold to conejita_diabla).

Looking back, it appears I've owned somewhere between 25 and 50 computers. I currently have seven working PCs that are going to be ditched, one way or the other, in the near future.

I think Apple owes me a rebate. ;)

I don't know why you'd feel bad. I've always heard that having a Lisa was a memorable and all together fantastic experience. :P

Wasn't it around the mid nineties that you got the Mac from me?

And the Mac started out as the original thin Mac, bought in 1984. I think I paid over three thousand at the time for the whole thing.
128k RAM and the one sided 400k floppy. No hard drive.

I figure it corresponded with my first or second year of CPSC, so that would be 88 or 89.

Also, didn't you buy a Plus around that time? I remember them discontinuing it soon after and lowering the price of the SE/30 and you being pissed about that. That would fit in with the timeline.
