Strange Emails From the Distant Past

Long time readers may remember this post that alludes to a murder in my neighborhood when I was a child. Today I got the following email:

While looking for some very old information from 1980 on the murder of "Kimberly Thompson" I came across your blog. In this entry you said you wondered what had become of the murderer of Kimberly Thompson. If your prepared for the answer I have it for you...

If you do not wish to be contacted further please reply stating this and I will never bother you again.

I think I will sleep on this.

Did you mean for the said post to show up again today... or is it just a spooky coincidence that it showed up right before you started talking about it? I read it not even realizing it was dated 2004.

The post wasn't originally in LJ - it was on my old website. I moved it to LJ (part of a long term plan of mine to move everything from my old blog to here) this morning, but forgot to back-date it.
