Ok, so anyone who's been reading for awhile knows I've been in a shitty mood. I'm tired of it.

I'm looking for suggestions on what I can do to cheer myself up. Note: Suggesting I just get laid will probably just make me more depressed. I need ideas that don't involve a partner.

What makes you happy? Not what would make you happy, but what things do you do that make you happy? Make a list and focus on the little things until the wave passes...I know thats not alot of help but its what keeps me going at times.

I was just watching this show 2 nights ago on Happiness and the conclusion is that we can create and control our own enviorment and that is where happiness comes from.
That has always been my Philosophy. That si why I bounced back so well after the wantimg to hurl myself off a bridge. I made myself happy.

I'm still trying to think of a good one. In the meantime, I offer ones that may not be so good to anyone that is not me.

Darn. It has to wait. I've got to investigate a suspicious package at work. Somehow, I do not think this is the kind of suggestion you are looking for.

Suppoabaly the act of smiling triggers the release of hormones that make you happy.

It sounds really stupid - but I find that if I'm not totally bummed and just slightly sad it seems to work.

For totally bleakly depressed... I turn to table top roleplaying - at least that way I'm with other people and I am interacting (it's escapism and I don't know if it's really healthy...but it seems to help).
