Estrella War 2011 Itinerary
Dec. 21st, 2010 03:49 pmI've booked my flights and pre-registered for the Estrella War. I am now committed to going.
Tuesday, February 15th
Returning, I opted for the connecting flight through Vancouver, which costs about $215. Total cost for both flights, including US Air's luggage fee, is $330. Tack that onto the event registration and I'm at about $400, depending on the conversion rate.
Note for my more frugal friends, if you've got the Airmiles and you only spend about $10 per meal, you can probably do this event for under $600.
Tuesday, February 15th
US Airways flight 152: YYC 15:35 -> PHX 18:37.Sunday, February 20th
Westjet flight 1771: PHX 14:35 -> YVR 16:48.The US Air flight is direct, but the luggage cost is $25 for the first checked bag. I picked the flight up with 1480 Airmiles and $88. Hopefully I'll get a ride to the site. If not, the shuttle costs about $60.
Westjet Flight 0668: YVR 19:15 -> YYC 21:35.
