A Winter's War on a Spring Day

garething and I got up at stupid-o-clock in the morning to attend Winter War, one of the big Borealis events.

( Some shooting, some spectating, some emo-BS, a happy ending and a win for Team Clam... )

Was it a good event? Everyone appeared to be having a good time, and I was glad to see my friends. I'd like to be able to do one of these things without dragging around so much baggage though.

Rock Brunch? Brunch Band?

In other news, I woke up Sunday morning to the sounds of visitors. It was decided (while I was away at the war) that there should be brunch, followed by socializing and Rock Band. It was good.
