"Living" in Tartarus

Gained another fucking pound this week. My Sisyphus-like existence continues. What the fuck is wrong with me - I should have been finished years ago.

There's a whole fucking plate of really good fudge sitting upstairs too and all I want to do is plow into it. Give myself something really tasty to launch me into a truly epic fit of guilt and self-loathing

Stupid Soft Tissue Injury

Adding to my frustration is my recent back injury. A reoccurrence of the usual back injury that I get every two years or so. If I had been running last week, it probably wouldn't have occurred, because I would have been keeping limber. Plus I probably wouldn't be up a pound this week. And now it's keeping me from running, probably for another couple of weeks.

On the bright side, the drugs are good and the three-day hump is over so I can now function reasonably well.

But I want to take a nice long run. The kind that leaves my breathless and happy to be alive. The kind that makes my stress go away.
