pandorasbox, I'm thinking of you here specifically), go outside and see if there's an aurora. A giant magnetic storm front just hit the earth so it should be pretty spectacular.
I myself am stuck in cowtown, where the light pollution will keep me from seeing anything dimmer then the moon.

The snow is falling down fluffy this morning.
One of my co-workers decided not to go up to Edmontown because of road conditions and seeing an SUV on its side in the ditch.
