In reference to this SNAFU: There was only three of them and they were late, missing me by minutes. SL was feeling pretty bummed out too (as I would be if only three people showed up to my going-away bash).

Oh well.

if it is any consolation I wasn't invited to my birthday party the other year and had to hear about it from a bunch of happy people who went.

What they were thinking was beyond me, but I left that burg a while later because I felt I wasn't really a part of the gang. I guess my birthday was just another day to party, with or without the guest of honor.
