Quad War Epilogue

I once again woke up earlier then I would have liked and was sore and headachy in the normal sense but not the hung-over sense. There was no physical hangover but there was a sort of situational hung-over-ness and I wasn't the only person who had it.
It was Sunday morning and the event was pretty much over for another year. No more anticipation of a fun event to come and no more joy in participating in fighting or shooting or drinking. All the fun stuff was over and there was nothing to look forward to except the chores of breaking down your camp and the tedium of a long drive home. Nobody wanted to go, they all wanted it to last just a little bit longer.
Next year Quad War is on the August long weekend. It'll be one day longer.
