hadriel and I made excellent time getting to Edmonton. She got off work and we hit the highway. I then proceeded to ignore some or all of the Highway Traffic Act. Average speed was ever so slightly above the posted speed limit pretty much the whole way.

We've checked into the Met and hadriel gets a phone call from her mom checking up on us. Turns out there was a major accident on the highway just north of the city and it's down to one lane. The powers that be are warning everyone to expect four to five hour delays.

If we were unlucky, we'd have been stuck in that. If we were spectacularly unlucky, we'd have been part of the accident.

But we're here, and now we just have to get in touch with nosarious so we can hang.

er. that subject heading didn't really work right. It was nice meandering out to Dadeos for munchies. Cool little place, that.

Last night was another adventure on the avenue. Edmonton won a hockey game and the noise started a few moments later. Imagine if the win the cup. The police had a high presence out and thankfully Mother Nature sent come extra cool rain to dampen down behaviors around 1:30.

After that it was the shuffle and stay awake part of my shift. Hope to see or hear from you both tomorrow.
