Meme-oires 06: The Day in Great Detail
Sep. 8th, 2010 03:35 pmI'm going to go with the 7th instead of the 6th. The 6th sucked.
I woke up and had breakfast. I farted around on the net a bit, mostly looking at the Federal Government's passport office website. I decided that it would be better to fill it out at work and print it there.
I was going to take the bus into work but as I was getting ready to go,
nosarious asked to borrow the car, so I got him to drop me off.
At work I filled out my passport renewal form and got a friend and my boss to be the two guarantors. Then I took the train downtown.
In TD Square I bought a comb and went into Black's to get a new passport photo taken. While waiting for that to develop, I went upstairs and had mall Chinese. Sitting in the corner did not hide me from SP, who spotted me and mentioned it later on Facebook.
I fetched my photos and went to the passport office in the Harry Hays building. The operation there was remarkably streamlined and efficient. Always a pleasant surprise when dealing with bureaucrats.
I came back up to my own neighborhood and bought a few books at Chapters and some groceries at Safeway. I walked back and had junk food for supper (bad James). I put on "Life After People" as background noise and spent a few hours working on my WWII Superhero RPG.
I tried to go to bed early and failed, as I normally do.
