The week: A Synopsis.

Downs:

• The demons made a brief appearance Saturday.
  
• There was some BS at council, but I dealt with it.
  
• Still burned out on the SCA though - seriously considering not going to council for a few months, or Whipping Winds next weekend. We'll see.

So-So:

• Shot a little better last Friday, compared to the Friday before. Still not great though.
  
• Mostly journalled this week, which kept my calorie content down to something less Jabba-like. I wasn't perfect though - I went a little over on food and a little under on exercise. The sick-and-bloated feeling is starting to go away.
  
• Walked to work one day and ran after work two days. I'd like to get back into running in the mornings, but haven't managed to get up with enough time to do so. Still, I ran, which I'll need to do a lot more of before Thanksgiving.
  
• I'm finally back in the groove at work - getting things done, dealing with issues in a timely manner, starting new projects.

Ups:

• Identified some demon-triggering situations, which will help in the future.
  
• Travel plans are firming up.

In non-James news:

• thekillerb69 has achieved the archery level of "master bowman" (an average of 80+ on three royal rounds). For laymen, that's the ability to consistently hit a target the size of your head with 6 arrows at 20, 30 and 40 yards).
  
• othelianna makes her triumphant return from the UK today. She braved a land filled with haggis, midges, and pirates all to regale us with ribald tales.

My advice FWIW - do what you like, don't do what you don't like.
If it sounds like fun, do it. If it sounds like work, don't do it.
