At our last tavern, it was mentioned that the town of Warburg has published information on our Silverwolf event in their paper.
At Coronet, a few of us went into town in garb, we ran into a few locals who were aware of the event, had attended at some point during the day and thought it was pretty cool. <--their words.
Perhaps just more media awareness, papers, local community groups, schools, etc, can be papered/emailed, pamphlets/posters with info on the society. Gives the community we are coming into the chance to come out and see first hand what goes on. Then, follow-ups by troll or maybe a few dedicated roving folk who will speak face to face with the visitors, encourage them to come out more often, maybe get involved.
I imagine this may all have been done beforeā¦but I do agree with you, more media means more exposure of all the really fun things we do, which may mean more people interested in becoming involved.
