Ten Foot Henry

The first club I ever went to was Ten Foot Henry's. This would have been the summer of 1985, so I was underage. Thankfully, being 6'4" means never having to be carded. The Rip Chords, Mode Emploi (or possibly the Animal Slaves) and Ohama all played.

I totally loved Ten Foot Henry's!!! I believe they had no official liquor license as i always saw underage kids there.

The Henry last I saw was at the Night Gallery in the corner.

i saw Screaming Trees there.

Henry is currently in the lobby of the Calgary Centre for the Performing Arts.

Your accent must have fucked me up because I had this weird notion that you moved to Cowtown only slightly before you worked at OD. Live and learn I guess.

Dunno. At a guess it would be because I don't really hang out with either catalytic (beyond his twice-a-year parties) or JMark. FWIW, I did occasionally hear about you from JMark when we were working together, but I only connect the girl he talked about and you a few months ago.

Makes you wonder who else is orbiting our circle that we haven't met.
