I saw my neighbor shoveling his snow into the street again. So I politely told him that this was against the law. Cars were already finding the street near-impassable (we pushed multiple vehicles out of drifts yesterday) and he's just adding to the problem.

He asked where he was supposed to shovel his snow. I pointed to the wide ledge next to his sidewalk. He poo-pooed this idea and continued on his merry way.

"Keep it up and I'll call the city."
"You do what you have to do."

Figures. He's not just a prick, he's a cheerfully in-your-face prick.

So to anyone visiting Pepperland while there's an excess of snow on the ground, park on my side of the street.

Next time he's a prick, just call and register a complaint. Don't even bother talking to him.

Oh, I've had plenty of idea on how to get into it with this guy. Ultimately, he's not worth the effort. He's also the sort of guy who *wants* someone to rail against - I'm not going to be that guy.

Plus, I'm not a prick.

So yeah, a phone call when I get home, because I asked him nicely once.
