A Lesson in the Use of Analogies

He just laughs at you when you tell him to stop that and to play street hockey like Canadian kids have done for generations. Eventually you call the cops.
"So what?" demands the officer angrily. "Is this kid wrecking anything? How does it hurt you? Give me a break. Why do you hate kids, anyway?
And he or she hangs up.
What the owner is thinking, and the cop is studiously ignoring, is kids in this country have always played street hockey. Playing soccer is against the natural order of things.
I offer this as an analogy of why Canadians should not have a referendum on the definition of marriage. It's also a good analogy for why Link Byfield is a thundering moron.
Remember kids, I'll become Senator at the same time he does. :)
