Bacon, Dates, Blue Cheese. Mmmmmm :)

jamesqI may have discovered nature's most perfect food at The Tapas Bar in Victoria!
Almond Stuffed Dates wrapped in bacon, with blue cheese crumble and balsamic reduction. This was my appetiser (I opted for a traditional salad/appy/entree rather then a variety of tapas) and it was so good that when I finished my meal, I asked the waitress to have another order made up to go so I could have it later back in my hotel room. I have one left as I write this.
The only thing that could make it better was to work chocolate into the whole thing without wrecking the subtle balance of flavours. Thankfully they have a Chocolate Brulee on the dessert menu.
