So how did I do? Not very well. I was hit with a combination of apathy and poor goal choices.

Meta goals (2/2): I did, in fact come up with 101 goals (#2) and post them (#1).

Traveling (1.5/5): I managed to go to the UK (#3) and attended [livejournal.com profile] kermie_canada and [livejournal.com profile] spookiemonkie2's wedding in Vancouver (#7a). Failed to get to Seattle on a side trip (#7b). Also failed to get to Las Vegas, San Francisco and Dinosaur park (#4-6).

Education (2/11): I took a cooking course( #9) and my Java 1 course (#14). Missed all the others. Note that the Java certificate (#18) is no longer available.

Miscellaneous 1 (6/7): Mostly this was getting rid of the computer clutter (#20-25), though it included a book I still haven't read (#19).

Home Improvement (5/6): Only failed in obtaining a picnic table (#29).

Athletic (0.87/4): I managed 87k worth of races out of the hundred I wanted (#32). Of course, multiple running-related injuries clobbered me. Well, that's a feeble excuse really - I could have made those last 13k up if I really wanted to. As for the others, the triathlon(#33) just didn't happen; riding my bike during the summer didn't happen because the bike was broken one year and my shoulder was broken the next; The Grouse Grind I made an attempt at, but just wasn't up to it during my sole opportunity to try it again.

SCA stuff (1/5): Recommended someone for an AoA (actually a couple of someones, #36). Everything war/archery related I failed.

Creative Stuff (2.5/7): Write some porn (#42-43). Did some research (#47). Better LJ-posting (#44) wasn't counted as I wasn't specific enough in defining what that meant.

Dating (0/3): Nuff said.

Food (4/6): Figures I'd do good on this one. Failed at the one involving dating (#53). Strangely also failed at the one that should have been easiest seeing as hoe I spent two weeks in Scotland (#56).

Fun Stuff (2.6/8): Barely started a CoC game (which fizzled, #60), managed to watch a bunch of movies (#57). Saw plays in three of five cities (#58). Others were mostly failures. The surreal postcard project (#64) fizzled because I decided it really wasn't that good an idea. I did make a few of the cards though I didn't mail them.

Clerical/Organizational Stuff (6/14): Got a bunch done here, but time has mostly rendered these efforts moot. i.e. I organized my paperwork and comics, but they quickly became unorganized again.

Consumer Whoring (3/6): I bought kilts and computers. Didn't buy much furniture though.

Miscellaneous 2 (6/15): A real mixed bag here. I'm glad we scatterd the folk's ashes (#85)

Weight Loss (0/2): This is the failure that makes me want to eat a bullet the most. I will put a stake in this goal on the second attempt. I am so sick and tired of being a blob. I want to see what being in shape is actually like.

Final grade: 42.47/101 = 42%. Well that's a failing grade in any class I've ever taken. Time to take the class over I think.

I don't think you failed because you actually did a shitload of the things you wanted to do and so what if some of them haven't been finished yet. Get out there and finish that 13k you still have left.

Also I'm getting back on the WW bandwagon after this holiday and getting back into shape and losing the 25lbs I put back on. I think getting sick last week really gave me a kick. I stopped drinking pop I was so sick and when I was feeling better I tried to drink some only to discover it tastes like terrible chemicals, so I figured that it was an apt time to give it up again. I think it's probably on of the biggest culprits in my weight gain.

Also you can send me weird postcards. I don't mind. This patron who visits the library gave me a little globe with sparkles inside with a tombstone and two skulls on the outside with a knife going through the eye hole. I thought it was really sweet. A regular girl would have been horrified. So if you want to send weird stuff, but are afraid people won't like it and think your weird send it to me. I'm weird and I already know your weird. now I'm just babbling.

Good luck on the rest of your list.

But if you scored 100% on the next mission, would you stop taking this class?

I don't see failure here for three other reasons. Ask if you want to know.

Take a look at the list.
How many of those items would you have accomplished if you had not been checking the list for the last 1001 days?

Subtract that number from the number that you have accomplished.

That is the measure of the success of the list.

Remember, the list is only a tool. If you accomplished even one more item with the list than you would have without, then the tool was successful.

If you are going to regard the list as a test, then in order to be fair, achievements in the spirit of the list should be counted as bonus points. Or do you consider that those achievements prevented you from accomplishing something on the list?

1. Did you do any travelling that was not on the list of travel destinations?

2. Did you learn any skills that was not on your list?

3. Did you do any home computer hardware tasks that was not on the list?

4. Did you do any home stuff that was not on the list?

5. Did you do any athletic stuff that was not on the list?

6. Did you do any SCA stuff that was not on the list?
What was your job title again, seneschal?

7. Any creative stuff happening that was not on the list?

8. Organization: Did you send in your 2006 and 2007 taxes yet?

Note: About DVD collections storage, check out the 17 litre Really Useful Box at Office Depot(you can also get DVD/CD storage in the smaller 3 litre box)

http://www.officedepot.ca/a/products/659275/Really-Useful-Box-18-Quarts-7/

Printed on the bottom it says 87 CD or 40 DVD or 30 VHS. I emptied the Office Depots around Edmonton of these beauties. The nice thing is you don't have to open them to find out which DVD is in which box.

Oh, for those who have better knowledge of how Quixote spends his time, let him know of any accomplishments should be used as bonus marks.
