Crüünchy Toast

The urge to sit on the couch and play Motorstorm all day is high, but I'm going to run in the snow instead. The snow has reduced my exercise this week and I really need to get back up on that horse. Honestly, it's not the snow though - I could have run at the oval this week (as several of my coworkers did). I've just been very lazy of late. I blame the season for my melancholy, but exercise generally cheers me up so I should be looking forward to it.

I was very happy last night. Went out to the Auburn with assorted folks after fight practice (though this wasn't an SCA thing) and got pretty well liquored up. Then I came home and immediately fell into bed. I woke up at 11.

Well, I've got a good day planned: Run. Shop. Archery. Maybe I'll be able to slide some Motorstorm in there too. Who knows.

Did you get out there yesterday before the snow hit? Man, that was one awful storm. It took my sister 1 1/2 hours to get from Westhills to SAIT that evening.

It had started snowing by the time I actually ran. I still did it. Later I wandered down to the mall and that was a much harder slog because there was close to a foot of fresh snow on the ground. At no time did I attempt to use my car. When I took it out this evening things were better, but it was still "drive like you're on a skating rink" weather.
