garething and I were practicing our spitting and growling (aka beginner's German). After awhile we got sufficiently punchy that we weren't retaining anything. I pick up an octopus hand-puppet that I own that Kirin was playing with.

"Look, it's our German squid - I'm going to put a little black mustache on him.", says I.

"Dear god no", says Gareth.

"Sure, I'll call him Adolph. Adolph the Squid."

"Adolph Squidtler!" says Gareth.

At this point we collapsed into insane laughter and decided that we had had enough Deutsches Lernen for the night.
