Tomorrow is stephtopia's birthday. For a brief moment, she and her boy garething share a digit in their age.

My birthday is in less then two months. On the bright side, when it arrives, I'll be in my prime!

Can we each have a prime at the same time? Unfortunately, N+11 can never be prime if N is also prime. Non-rigorous proof: For N>2 to be prime it must be an odd number. Adding two odd numbers together will always result in an even number. Aside from 2, no prime is even. I guess that means we were both prime when you were 2 and I was 13.

How about if we're together? How often does N+(N+11) = a Prime?

N + (N+11) = Prime
2N + 11 = Prime

If we use your age to define the sets, we get three:

Your age is prime (N is prime):

[31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79...]

Your age, when mine is prime (N+11 is prime):

[30, 32, 36, 42, 48, 50, 56, 60, 62, 68, 72, 78...]

Your age when our combined age is prime (2N+11 is prime):

[30, 31, 34, 36, 39, 43, 45, 46, 48, 49, 51, 58, 60, 63, 64, 69, 70, 73, 76, 78...]

The superset of all three is:

[30, 31, 32, 34, 36, 37, 39, 41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, 56, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 76, 78, 79...]

Therefore, for maximum primeness we should get married on November 25th, 2023 and get divorced on November 25th, 2030. There's two other seven year clusters, starting in 2036 and 2045, but I'd rather get married when I'm still young.
