I just found out that they added a tour date for Pat Benatar - in fucking Medicine Hat tonight. Good for the Hat, but what about Calgary? We only have 16 times their population.

I'd be tempted to leave work this second and hop in the car, but the show is sold out.

No seriously, what the hell is wrong with Cowtown that we can't get the same calibre of performer as Medicine Hat?

Pat Benatar was here during Stampede...played the O&Y Stampede Party at Fort Calgary...Colin James and Billy Idol were on the bill too. Was a GREAT show...saw it from my apartment balcony...heh...the BEST distance at which to see Mr. Idol.
