Iron Man rocked. It was wonderful to see someone do a comic book movie and get everything right.

I've been thinking about picking up a console for awhile now. At first I thought I'd satisfy this with the Wii I bought off nosarious. Sadly, Guitar Hero III for Wii is as rare as hen's teeth around these parts and the upcoming release for Rockband is likely to be at least as bad.

I had a couple of options, but the best seemed to be getting a Playstation 3. It seems to be the least flakey with the best selection of high quality games. It's also about the most expensive.

So I pulled several hundred dollars from my change jar and picked one up, along with Motorstorm. Sometime this week I'm also likely to get Rockband for PS3.

Oh, I can pick it up for other consoles, just not Wii. There's about ten brazillian of them here.

Yay! now you have to pick up Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII. I'm playing Siletn Hill: Origins right now. It's pretty creepy.

After the joy of Iron Man lastnight, the question came up of how right is right? Like is this true to the comic? I'm not well versed in this one.

Characterization, origin and typical mission where all spot on. Pepper Potts, Jim Rhodes and Obadiah Stane are all secondary characters in Iron Man and their characterization was spot on too.
