garething and I were were coming out of the theater (We saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow - really good by the way) today when we were given free samples for a new product. Slimfast CarbZone bars. So I was reading the ingredient list - which contained such notables as Maltitol Syrup and Sucralose - when I noticed the following:

Caution - do not use as sole source of nutition.

Farther below I read the following:

May have a laxative effect.

I can see that advertisements now - It's caramel nut flavor, so you won't notice that you're crapping yourself to death if you eat noting but our diet bars.

I'm afraid to eat my free sample.
