So I drove on a flat tire this evening. Different tire. Rode it too long and managed to shred it. Not quite completely - the tube still held air, At least it held air long enough to drive from Westbrook to Dalhousie. However when I filled it up in Westbrook, the side-wall of the tire went all pimply.

So yeah, rode on it too long. Time will tell if I shot the rim as well - I hope not. Having to get at least one tire replaced is bad enough.

It was fun driving home at 40Kph with my four-ways blinking the whole way.

I do believe, that is what I described in your other tire post, No? Don't feel bad, I had to learn that lesson the hard way... Only I was at Highway cruising speeds (140 km/h) and as such, I did do some damage to my rim, not enough to prevent it's use, but enough to severely piss me off... Best of luck with your new tire...

The other day when it was really frigid here, my car stalled at a couple of red lights. That sucked. I need to get the spark plugs replaced, which I'm doing next wednesday which I have off, but now at all the lights it's acting up so I have to keep putting it in park so it doesn't stall. Not to mention that teeny, tiny Korean cars were not made for the snow.
