Archery at November Coronet, Part 1

jamesqI wasn't sure if there was to be an archery tournament at the upcoming Avacal November Coronet. I asked about it in the Avacal archery newsgroups and heard nothing for a long time.
Then I hear it's been canceled (the archery, not the event) due to lack of suitable equipment. So assorted folks in the archery community rally and offer to get the equipment there come hell or high water.
Cool, it's back on again, we hear.
Oops no, it's not on after all.
WTF?
I'm seriously tempted to write to the autocrat and their highnesses and volunteer to run it myself.
